Winifred Theresa Johnson

Winifred Theresa Johnson passed away peacefully, at age 99, on November 9, 2016, following a brief illness. Born in New York City, she also lived in Massachusetts, Tennessee, North Carolina and the Netherlands. She has been retired in Denver for the last twelve years and lived at Heritage Club, Brookdale. Winifred was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Johnson, an executive with the Sperry Univac Corporation. Survivors include her children Eugene Johnson (Ruth) in Ohio, Douglas Johnson (Betty) in North Carolina, Marilyn Golden (Brian) in Colorado as well as three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and was an avid bridge player. She will be interred where her husband is buried in Tennessee in the spring with a small family service. Please share memories of Winifred and condolences with her family in the Guestbook.
