(Willard) Woody Cordill passed away on December 16th at his home in Arvada, CO. He was born at St. Josephs Hospital in Denver, CO on February 8, 1957. He grew up and graduated from high school in Evergreen, CO.
He served in the Army after graduating. Then, he attended Metropolitan State College in Denver where he earned his BS degree. Later he decided to go into nursing â attending and graduating from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO. He had a long and fullfilling career as a nurse both in Denver and Glenwood Springs.
He was also a talented musician playing both the bass and the piano. Everyone loved hearing him sing with his beautiful tenor voice.
He is survived by his sisters, (Judith Kopulos, Karen Wear, Gini Brown and Anne Harrington), and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
His family was always his first priority and he spent most of his free time with them. He will be sorely missed.
His memorial service will be at the Aurora VFW at 18545 E Colfax Ave in Aurora, CO at 10:45 on January 5th. A luncheon will be served following the services.
