Wyvonna Stengaard

Wyvonna Stengaard, age 77, of Johnstown passed away on 4/15/2025. She was born January 6, 1948 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Mae and Mac McMillan. She was raised in Loveland where she met and married her High School sweetheart, Richard Stengaard. They were married October 28th, 1967. After losing Richard in 2019, Wyvonna moved to Lakewood to be closer to her daughter, Stephanie.

Wyvonna worked for Poudre School district as a Para Professional and Administrative Assistant for 22 years and retired in 2006.

She also worked as a Hair Stylist out of her home for many years, taking care of many friends and family.

Wyvonna loved her family immensely and dedicated her life to her kids, grandkid, and lots of granddogs. She loved going camping and traveling in the mountains of Colorado for nature and wildlife drives. She spent years traveling with Richard to sporting events to support her kids. The last few years were spent side by side with her loyal companion Hydie, her King Charles pup.

She is survived by her children Scott (Lisa) Stengaard, grandson Gabriel Stengaard, Daughter Steph Stengaard, Sister Bev (Fred) Ballard and many close family from Nebraska and Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her Father Mac McMillan, Mother Mae Epperson, Step Father Keith Epperson, Husband Richard Stengaard, Brother in Law Darwin (Colleen) Stengaard, Brother in Law Roger Stengaard, Mother in Law Naomi Stengaard.

A celebration of life will take place in the Summer of 2025 in the Fort Collins/Loveland area.
