Yvonne Charlene Roberts

Yvonne Charlene Roberts, 81, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1937 in Oakland, California to Helen and Celestino Cunha. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 59 years, James F. Roberts; her 3 children: Laura Smith, Barbara Webb, and James Roberts Jr.; and 9 grandchildren: Eli Smith, Derek Webb, Bryan Webb, Zachary Webb, Evan Webb, Clayton Roberts, Carson Roberts, Alexis Roberts, and Caden Roberts. Yvonne was primarily a homemaker who took pride in creating a comfortable home where all felt welcomed. In later years, she also became a Marketing Research executive, and specialized in Automotive Research. After retiring, she loved playing games, especially Canasta, and spending time with her grandchildren. Yvonne was the glue that held her family together. She was a wife who was devoted to her husband, and a mother her children adored. Possibly her favorite title was “Grandy” to her grandchildren and their friends who loved her beyond explanation. A service in her memory will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1:00 in the afternoon at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, Colorado 80122.
