Alicia Ann Todd passed away on September 27, 2021, peacefully in her sleep at 96 years of age.
Alicia was born in Rawlins, Wyoming, March 22, 1925. She went to school and graduated from Rawlins High School on March 28, 1943. She entered nurses training at Mercy Hospital in Denver, Colorado on June 10, 1943, and graduated as a registered nurse on July 11, 1946. She was a practicing RN at Mercy Hospital surgery department for many years, before leaving to work in her husband's business, Todd and Fry. When she retired, she volunteered at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
She married Ross J. Todd on June 21, 1950. They were together for 40 years until his death on August 27, 1990. They had four sons. Adam (Jack) passed way January 16, 2004, and Joseph (passed away in infancy). She is survived by sons, Phillip A. Todd and Bill R. Todd and daughters-in law, Karen Todd, Susanne Todd and Debbie Todd. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Shawn Todd, Sarah Todd, Jon Todd, Rob Todd, Isaac Todd and one great-granddaughter, Hailey Quinn Todd.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 18th, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family chapel, located at 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, followed at 6 p.m. by a Rosary. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 19th at 10:30am, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, located at 3959 E. Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80210. Reception immediately following Mass. Interment will take place at 2pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Alicia’s name to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and American Heart Association.
