Anna Marie Kratzer

Anna Marie Kratzer was born on August 29th,1936 in Omaha, Nebraska.  She passed away at her home in Englewood, Colorado on April 26, 2022.  She was the only child of Karl Kratzer and Gertrude Sommers-Kratzer.

She is survived by her Godchildren: Dani Wattles (Rob) of Gunnison Colorado; Lisa Schlichting (Scott) of Broomfield, Colorado; Janet Cho (Anthony) of Gunnison, Colorado; Mary Jo Marvel (Cecil) of Gunnison, Colorado;  Michelle Reinhardt (Max) of Gunnison, Colorado; Matt Marvel of Gunnison, Colorado and Sheila Marvel (David) of Parker, Colorado.

Anna Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Colorado in 1960 after working her way through school and paying all of her own tuition.  She enjoyed a long career as a bookkeeper at various organizations in the Denver metro area.  She was also a talented interior designer and coordinated decorating projects throughout her life.

Anna Marie enjoyed artistic projects, socializing, gardening, making wine, participating in political campaigns and caring for her dogs.  She was a fierce woman of integrity and strength who served as a role model for others.

Anna Marie’s life will be celebrated on Friday, May 13th at 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, 3310 S Sherman St, Englewood, CO 80113.
