Barbara Williams

Barbara Ann Williams (Halter) passed away on Wednesday, August 11th in Littleton, CO. She was born on February 7, 1945, in Denver, CO to parents Leo and Mary (Cooney) Halter.  Barbara worked for the State of Colorado within the Department of Regulatory Agencies until her retirement in 1999.
She enjoyed reading, watching the news, and spending time with friends and family. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and Catholic Faith.  In 1978, Barbara married the love of her life, Larry Dean Williams.
Barbara leaves behind her beloved daughter Shannon (Christopher); cherished granddaughter Maya; dear sister Carol Halter; and many long-time friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Williams.
There will be a service at Notre Dame Catholic Parish, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80219, on Tuesday, August 24th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
