Bellamino Muniz ("Bell") 86 of Denver Colorado, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully of natural causes in Denver on September 28, 2022. Bell was born in Rodarte, New Mexico on April 15, 1936 to Ricardo and Beatrice Muniz and had many brothers and sisters.
He was previously married to the late Loretta Mares and later married Diane Muniz of 45 years. His immediate family consists of Richard, Laura (Lynn), Lisa (Thomas), Rhonda (Ron), Rodney (Alan), Leslie (Larry). He has 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bell is preceded in death by his parents and siblings along with other close relatives and friends.
Growing up in Denver, Bel graduated from Manual High School, Denver, Colorado and joined the U.S. Marines and served as a Corporal Officer. He was employed with Denver Public Schools and retired after 20+ years. He continued on a part time basis.
Bell’s time was spent around family and friends. He enjoyed going to Black Hawk, playing pool and watching the Broncos and Rockies games. He was a parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church and would enjoy mass on Saturdays.
Viewing will be held at Horan & McConaty at 3101 So. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m, All Saints Catholic Church, 2559 So. Federal Blvd, Denver, CO. Interment Ft. Logan National Cemetery Denver, CO at 1:15 p.m.
