Benedicta "Gloria" Lawler

Benedicta “Gloria” Rosal Lawler, age 66, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on June 14, 2021 in Aurora, Colorado. Gloria was born May 7, 1955 to Tomas and Fermina Rosal in Leyte, Philippines. She married her husband, Robert Lawler on October 13, 1984. Gloria spent her professional career as a Bakery Manager for Safeway and retired after 30 years. Gloria enjoyed ceramics, crochet and decorating, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Gloria was an amazing cook and prepared delicious meals for those she loved.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob Lawler; her children: Johanna McDonald (Jon Kleager), Jason McDonald (Rachel) and Jeff Lawler; her grandchildren: Michael Algeo (Kylie), Mikayla Algeo, Leann McDonald, Janessa Lawler, Brooke McDonald and Nathan McDonald and her siblings, Carmen Rosal Abellana, Evelyn (Rafaela) Rosal and Apolinario Rosal.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Fermina Rosal and her siblings: Jaime Rosal, Pablito Rosal and Vicente Rosal.

A private service will be held for Gloria at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home.

Anyone wishing to send flowers to the family in Gloria’s honor, please have them delivered to the funeral home by 4pm on Tuesday June 22, 2021.
