Carolyn Maddox

Carolyn Maddox, 82, of Arvada passed away on July 17, 2019, at Lutheran Medical Center.

Born on October 3, 1936, in West Frankfort, Illinois, she was the daughter of Bennie and Wanda Mae (Lacey) Westell. Carolyn married Jerry Maddox on October 6, 1956, and together they shared nearly 63 years of marriage.

Carolyn enjoyed her exercise classes at the YMCA and the friendships she made there. She loved reading, baking and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and spoiling her grandkids. Her family was the highlight of her life.

Carolyn is predeceased by her son, Greg Maddox (January 29, 2013).

In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by her son Jay Maddox, and his wife, Kim, her son Benny Maddox, and his wife, Carrie, her daughter Barby Pohl and her husband, Don, her daughter-in-law Rosalinda ""Bambi"" Maddox, her grandchildren Shawn Maddox, Morgan Fate, Garrett Pohl, Blair Maddox, Rylee Pohl, Luke Maddox, and Danny Maddox, and her great grandson Nathan Fate.

A Memorial Service to honor Carolyn's life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2pm at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003.
