Dennis Livingston

Dennis joined his wife and love of his life, Sandra in heaven August of 2019. Survived by daughter, Amy Cooper, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Mearing, as well as brothers, Larry Livingston and Kevin Livingston and sisters, Anna Nicholas and Nancy Barnum.

Born in Montpelier, VT to Julius and Laura Livingston. Dennis moved to Colorado in the early 70’s where he met Sandra Williams. They were married in 1975 and became a family of three in 1978. They lived in Denver for several years before finally settling in Conifer, CO in the late 80’s. He loved his family and did everything possible to care for them.

He spent most of his working years self-employed as a professional carpet cleaner and vehicle mechanic. He prided himself on working ethically and treating his customers fairly in both trades.

For fun he loved camping, hiking and fishing in the Colorado back country. He introduced both Sandra and Amy to the world of drag racing at Bandimere Speedway and circle track at Colorado National Speedway. As a catcher in high school he also had a love for baseball and enjoyed watching (tv or live) and listening (radio) to the Colorado Rockies play.

Memorial services will be held at Gateway Christian Church in Aurora, CO on Friday, August 30th at 2:00pm.
