Diana Wells

May 31, 1936 — October 11, 2021

Diana Angela (Bennish) Wells was welcomed into eternal life on October, 11, 2021. She was a devout catholic and during her final days, she described the celebration that was waiting for her in heaven. She was happy that she was going to be reunited with loved ones (family and friends) that preceded her in death including her grandparents, parents and her beloved granddaughter Shoshema and Grandson Benjemen.

Diana was born to Ruth and Alzon Bennish on May 31, 1936 in Merrill, Wisconsin. She was an amazing competitive ice skater and continued to twirl her baton as a majorette when she moved to Colorado during her high school years. She graduated from Aurora High School and Barnes Business college while taking care of her ailing mother.

Diana was amazing, hard-working, loving, kind and fun. She cultivated strong meaningful friendships while supplying her children and grandchildren with a lifetime of happy memories. She cherished each special name that her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her (Moms, Lady Di, Mommy, Momushka, Grammy, Gama, Oma and Gwamama.)

She truly made a positive impact and was loved by all that were blessed to know her. Throughout life she continued to skate, twirl and dance for her kids and grandkids. She constantly brought joy to every moment of their lives. Diana reminded all to work hard, live each day to the fullest, treat others how you would want to be treated, make happy memories and never forget to have some fun.

Her joy of life and memory will live on with all who knew and loved her, especially her Daughters: Heidi, Tausha (Tina), Tonya, Yana (Austin)

Her Grandchildren: Nakoma, Hunter (Taylor), Tristin, Aiden and Anya

Great Grandchildren: Trinity and Evianna

The best way to honor and pay tribute to Diana Angela Wells would be to have faith that in God all things are possible, have pride in and fight for our country, be kind, take time to laugh and dance and most importantly...eat some chocolate.
