Don was the oldest child of Joe and Dorothy Hogan who both preceded him in death.

Don graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1959. Don was a hunter and loved the outdoors. He was an avid golfer as well as a member of many bowling leagues through the years. He had a love of horses and participated in rodeos when he was a young man. He also had many dogs over the years starting when he was just a toddler.

Don was a master welder who worked at Samsonite for over 35 years--first as a union member, and finally as a manager / supervisor.

Don was a big fan of the Broncos and the Rockies and he never missed a game.

Don is survived by Marge, his loving wife of 23 years, his two sons whom he shares with his ex-wife Betsy Hogan, Del (Fran) their 2 daughters, Sammi and Sydney. Dan (David Hall-Loftus) his two step-daughters Pamela Beaty (John) their daughter Elizabeth Odey and her four children. Sherri Frazier (Gonzo Cortez) and her two sons Billy and Quinn Perry. His sister Beverly Hathaway and brother Ed Hogan. Don also has many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. And, lastly, his constant companion Abby, the Labrador Retriever.
