Eleanor Apodaca

Eleanor Apodaca, 80, of Lakewood passed away on June 29, 2019 at Western Hills Health Care Center. Born on December 9, 1938 in Colorado, she was the daughter of Solomon and Delma (Gonzales) Vigil. Eleanor married Damacio Joe Apodaca together they shared 30 years of marriage.

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. She also enjoyed sitting outside with a cold beverage.

She is survived by her children, Lynda Vigil. Jacqueline Mondragon, Danny Apodaca, and Judy Delgado, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Richard Vigil.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00am at Our Lady Mother of the Church 6690 E. 72nd Ave. Commerce City, CO 80022, with a Rosary beginning at 10:30am . A Reception will follow the mass.

Burial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 9:00am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ‘A', 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80235.
