Frank Gutierrez, 88, died January 12, 2018, due to complications from dementia. He is now at peace with our Lord and Savior in Heaven. Before his death, he celebrated 60 years of marriage to his wife Mabel Gutierrez. Frank worked at Western Merchants for over 25 years in a sales position, there was never a person that he did not befriend, and he had the gift of gab. He then went on to work at Associated Grocers until his retirement. Family was very important to Frank, he loved spending time with them -- his beloved children Debbie (Tilio âJr.â), Caroline (Gunar), and Valerie (Gus); grandchildren Timmy (Kelly) and Johnny (Angela); great grandchild Israel; brothers and sister (their spouses) and family friends. Frankâs greatest pride was taking care of his family. He gave his family the gift of travel, and the love and enjoyment of movies. On Friday nights the family was either at the drive-in theater or getting ready to go camping for the weekend. On camping trips Frank made sure his girlsâ fishing poles were ready to go and that he had made enough fishing weights to ensure he caught his limit for the day. Frank loved his perfectly manicured yard, and planting and harvesting his vegetable garden. On Saturday mornings he made sure every weed was pulled in his garden. Frank shared his life with his wife Mabel, they truly worked as a team to create the life they wanted. He missed her dearly when she passed, he is now with her and they are sharing eternal life together. Frank is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mabel Gutierrez; his parents George Gutierrez and Fidelia Gutierrez; son-in-law Tilio âJr.â Maestas; and siblings Lou Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez, Edward Gutierrez, William (Terry) Gutierrez. he is survived by his siblings George (Roslyn) Gutierrez, Pauline (Manual) Garcia, and sister-in-law Alice (Lou) Gutierrez. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20th at 1:00pm at All Saints Lutheran Church at 15625 East Iliff Avenue, Aurora, CO. Reception to immediately follow at All Saints. Donations can be made to TRU Community Care Hospice in Frankâs name. Please share your memories of Frank and condolences with his family by signing the guestbook below.
