On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Gary Elton Miller passed away at the age of 78 in his home in Denver, Colorado.

Gary was born on February 6, 1943 in Los Angeles to Bill and Verda Miller and raised in Sabetha, KS. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and received his undergraduate degree in History and graduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri- Columbia and ran several successful businesses for over 50 years. On August 21, 1965 he married Virginia Eileen Miller in St Joseph, MO. They raised their three children in St. Louis, MO.

Gary had an insatiable curiosity and a love of learning that led to many interests throughout his years that included: Golf, Travel, Music, Wine, Art, the Outdoors, and the great state of Colorado. He treasured time with his grandchildren. Gary was a devout Catholic in his later years. He was known for his larger-than-life personality, infectious energy, and compassionate spirit.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Bill, and his mother, Verda. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, and his three children, Jolana, Justin and Stacy, along with his sister, Renee, and five grandchildren.

A funeral was held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Loreto with a burial at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Donations may be sent to Our Lady of Loreto, 18000 E Arapahoe Road, Aurora, CO, 80016.
