Jack Van Meel

Jack John Robert van Meel was granted his angel wings on July 19, 2021. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Jack was born in Kerkrade, Holland on April 18, 1958.

Jack graduated from Butte High School and went on to get a degree in the fledgling business of computer hardware from DeVry University. Jack spent the next 40+ years in the computer services industry working on several of the foundational systems that run the modern financial and banking systems of the world.

In the late 1970’s, Jack’s passion of computers had him traveling the United States where he met the love of his life and sweetheart, Laura. Jack and Laura never lost their desire for traveling, and journeyed to many locations throughout the world together.

He is survived by his mother, Anna, sons and daughter-in-law, Paul, Joyce and Tom, his sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Terry. As well as two grandchildren, Baylee and Jack, great grandchild, Reese, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura and father, Bertus.
