Jeanette Southwick

Jeanette Marie Southwick was born in White, South Dakota, on June 26, 1936, to Alvin Peterson and Myra (Luze) Peterson and passed away at her home in Westminster on November 7, 2018 at age 82. Jeanette was a Registered Nurse and a school teacher. She was married to Verl R. Southwick on November 26, 1960.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Verl; her children Michael Southwick and his wife Lorrie, Daniel Southwick and his wife Patty, Anita Southwick and Leah Forbes; son-in-law Ron Curry; brother Peter Peterson; sisters Joan Scheller, Katherine Kuder, and Monica Lorang; her grandchildren, Rachael, Justin, Anita, Katina, Jordan, Kristen, Brendan, Dan Jr., Casey, Addison, Hillary, Tanner, Joshua and Ethan. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Monica Curry, sisters Madeline Gerlock and Anita Gieske, and her grandson Ryan.

The Rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 20th, 10:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 AM, both at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1843 West 52nd Avenue. Committal Service will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Staging Area “A”.
