Jeri Borelli

July 30, 1933 — December 15, 2018

Jeri Borelli (born Jerry Lee Wilder) died on Saturday, December 15 at the age of 85. Jeri was the
first of three girls born to Clyde and Viola Wilder (Gallaven) in Grand Junction. Her family
relocated to San Rafael California in 1942, where Jeri led the high school band as the head drum
majorette.

After graduating high school, Jeri began working for the FBI while attending San Francisco State,
where she studied business and earned her associate degree. Jeri and her girlfriends later
applied to United Airlines, and she was accepted as one of the first Commercial Airline
Stewardesses. She served in First Class until 1957 when she married her husband of over fifty
years, Gil N. Borelli. Jeri became an executive secretary at United, while Gil continued his career
with the Denver Post. As a married couple, the two enjoyed Jeri's status with United and
vacationed around the world until their two sons, David and Steven, were born.

Jeri remained involved with United by publishing the ""Clipped Wings"" newsletter, a periodical
for current and former flight attendants and stewardesses. She was active and athletic
throughout her life and remained an avid tennis player and fan. As her sons got older, Jeri reignited
her career and took a position as an executive secretary with Touche Ross.

Jeri was always a stylish, bright and charming woman. Her blue eyes sparkled when she
laughed... and she laughed often.

She is survived by son, David (Lori) Borelli, her Daughter-in-Law Jennifer (Steve) Borelli, three
grandchildren, Ali, Annie and Will, her sister Judy Conard of San Rafael and her adoring nieces
and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Gilbert N. Borelli (1933-2008) and her
beloved son, Steven J. Borelli (1969-2015) of Highlands Ranch.
