On Friday, August 6, 2021, Joe Allen Bradley, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 94.
Joe was born on September 15, 1926, in Ada, OK, to Robert and Lottie Bradley.
Joe served his country in the Merchant Marines in World War II, as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War, and in the U.S. Navy Reserves until 1966. He received his bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Oklahoma and worked as a petroleum geologist for several large oil companies and as an independent consultant.
Joe enjoyed traveling with his friends and family to big cities and beautiful country sides. Whether it was attending the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, or a rodeo in Darby, MT, Joe was eager to visit unique and beautiful places with the people he loved.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Robert, his mother, Lottie, and his brothers Robert, Milton, Carter, and Glenn Bradley, and his sisters Margaret Whitehurst and Clara Lea Long. He is survived by his two children, Bill and Margaret Bradley, his grandchildren, Paris, Max and Joe Bradley, and his beloved girlfriend Paula Kramer.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, September 2, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
