John Day Iii

John L Day III passed away at age 84 on June 3, 2021. His last days were spent in the peace and comfort of his home. John is survived by Kay, his wife of 61 years and by his daughters; Lee Ann Day Coloroso and her husband, Alan, of Westminster, Colorado; and Marianne Towne and her husband, Mark, of Charlotte, North Carolina. Preceding him in death is his son Jack Day.

He was very proud of his surviving grandchildren; Ashley Towne, a graduate of Notre Dame and an engineer in the aerospace industry; and Jonathan Towne, a graduate of Rice University who is starting the fourth year of his Md/PhD program at University of Texas Health San Antonio.

Jack spent over 45 years in law enforcement, a career he was passionate about. He loved his family and his home.
