John Mcbride

John McBride, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  Born in Denver, Colorado, on October 8, 1955, John was the son of John and Margaret McBride.  He was a proud graduate of Mullen High School and earned a degree in accounting from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. He went on to earn a law degree from Denver University.

John spent the majority of his life in Denver raising three children with his wife, Cathy. He loved sports and coached youth basketball for many years.  He was an avid Bronco fan and rarely missed attending home games.

He embraced his Irish heritage and traveled to Ireland on several occasions.  He was also very active in the Wick School of Irish dance.

John was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Cathy, and son Liam. He is survived by his daughter Maura Campbell (Levi), granddaughters, Devynia and Tylyn Campbell, son Seumas McBride, sisters Micki McBride (Curt Tuffin), Peggy Taylor (Kevin), and Maureen McBride and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, 2:00 pm, at Horan and McConaty, 7577 West 80th Ave, Arvada, CO.
