Kathrine Garcia

Kathrine Garcia, aged 65, passed away in Arvada, CO on September 3, 2021. Kathrine was born on June 17, 1956 in the city of Las Vegas, NM. In 1973, Kathrine met and married her lifelong love and Husband Joe Garcia. They just recently celebrated 48 years of marriage on April 14, 2021. Kathrine was a Mother to 5 children and a Grandmother to 6 Grandchildren. Her Children and Grandchildren would go on to become Kathrine’s great loves as she dedicated her life to her family. Kathrine enjoyed cooking, music, Holidays, family get togethers, traveling to her favorite destination Cancun, MX and sipping the occasional ice cold coke. Kathrine was a woman of strength and courage as she fought breast cancer for more than 16 years. Above all she was a woman of faith.

Kathrine is survived by her parents Alvin & Andrea Balerio, husband Joe Garcia, 5 Children Kathrine, Monica, Joe, Eric, Ericka and Grandchildren Macayla, Hailey, Aubrey, Sophia, Ethan and Wesley.

A Memorial service will be held on September 24, 2021 at 10:30am at Praise Center Church 3105 W Florida Ave. Denver, CO 80219. Due to the recent surge in Delta variant cases there will be no reception following the memorial service.
