Madge, first of all, was a lover of God’s Word. A friend remembers that she was always reading His Word. She loved her BSF friends. She loved to help people and serve people. She was generous to those in need. She loved to tease; and stated that she could handle anything because of having so many brothers. She grew flowers year-a-round for the church.
Madge was an accomplished seamstress. She made most of her daughters’ and grandchildren’s clothes, loved to dress fashionably. She loved her siblings and was always concerned about their salvation through Christ. She loved to read, especially God’s Word. She loved crafts – she became proficient at decoupage. She also loved to cook. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren usually buying them things every time she had them for 2-week visits in the summer.
Madge was a champion game player – she won most of the time playing BINGO, she was good at Wheels of Fortune, Hearts, Spades, Pinochle. She counted cards!
Charitable requests – flowers or donations to in her memory to Madges favorite charity – St Jude’s Hospital.
