Margaret Nazaryk

Margaret Ann Nazaryk, age 91, passed away on August 8, 2021 in Thornton, Colorado. Margaret was born near Paullina, Iowa to William Strahmann and Mary (Daley) Strahmann. Margaret moved to Denver, Colorado and then to Cheyenne, Wyoming after she graduated from Larrabee High School in Iowa. She met Milton Nazaryk in Cheyenne and they married there on April 6, 1953. They then moved to Colorado where they raised their children, and Margaret lived the remainder of her life.

Margaret and Milton spent many wonderful years traveling in their motor home including Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, California, Arizona, Lake Powell in Utah, Texas, Iowa, Florida and other locations. They also enjoyed their house in Chaffee County, Colorado before moving back to Thornton, Colorado.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Milton Nazaryk; her children, Paul Nazaryk (Sondra Joyce), Patricia Nazaryk (Baram Molai), and Mark Nazaryk; her grandchildren Lindsay Scott (Tommy Daly), Krista Nazaryk, Carly Nazaryk (Israel Reyes), Joren Joyce, Bo Molai, Nicholas Molai, Nathan Molai, Alex Molai, Greg Nazaryk (Andrea Fink), and Randy Nazaryk; her great grandchildren LT Daly, Scotty Daly, Paxton Daly, and JuliaRose Daly; her sisters-in-law Rosa Strahmann and Cindy Strahmann; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law; her granddaughter, Julia Scott; and her siblings and their spouses, Gerald and Leonora (Zeiman) Strahmann, Tom Strahmann, Jean (Strahmann) and Dick Brennan, Bernie and Nina (Poston) Strahmann, and Bill Strahmann.

Memorial contributions can be made to Project Angel Heart which provides medically tailored meals to individuals with chronic illness.
