Marilyn Cheney

Marilyn Aamodt Cheney was born to William Scott and Ellen (Edquist) Scott in Omaha, Nebraska on March 20, 1924. She passed away on November 10, 2021 in Denver, Colorado.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver, and went on to become a Med Tech at Denver Health Medical Center. While at DU, she was a member of Pi Phi.

She has been awarded with Volunteer of the Year by Warren Village and the Talking Library.

Her hobbies were gardening, quilting, crossword puzzles, and reading.

She is predeceased by her sister Ruth Jane Dee and her children Kate Hager and John Hager; she has left behind her daughters Ann Mill and Sheri Hager. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Tammy Byrum, Dan Roth, David Roth, John Hager, Brett Hager; 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
