Marlene Langan

Marlene Carolyn Langan joined her husband, Robert Langan and son James Langan in Heaven on July 4, 2021, at the age of 89.

She is survived by four of her five children, Carolyn Garris (Michael); Gail Jackson (Michael); Robert C. Langan (Cynthia) and Lorraine Brown (Michael). Her fifth child, James Langan, deceased, is survived by his widow, Patricia Baker (Pete) who is considered a daughter and sister by all of us.

Marlene had 12 grandchildren, Anne Traas, Erin Garris, Keli Hughes, Andrea Powers, David Jackson, Eliese Langan, R. Sean Langan, Valerie Brown, Kristi Brown, M. Andrew Brown, Heather McDonald and Ryan Langan. She also had 15 great grandchildren!

Marlene had a great love for all her children and family and loved dancing through life with her husband Robert.  We will miss her everyday but have comfort knowing she is at peace and in a better place with her loved ones that have also passed.

Recitation of the Rosary will be on Wednesday, July 14th at 6:00pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 15th at 10:30am at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (Chatfield and Pierce). Due to Covid restrictions there will be no reception.  We are thankful that we can honor our mother at the service.  A private family burial will be later in the afternoon at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
