Melody Sims

Melody Sims passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the age of 48 in Englewood, Colorado, after a complication from surgery. She was an adored wife, beloved mom, Gigi, sister, aunt and friend. Melody is survived by her husband, Rick and her children, Rob, Samantha and Katie. Melody was also a loving bonus mom to Alexandria, Courtney and Grace.

Being a Gigi was her life and she had a special loving bond with each of her grandchildren. She is reunited in heaven with her grandson Elliot and survived by her grandchildren: Wyatt, Marcus, Jaxson, Logan, Alayna, Lindell, Leighton, Kingston and Amiah. She was also blessed with bonus grandchildren: Joseph, Wyatt, Kolten, Destiny, Myla and Maysin, which she treated as her own and loved dearly.

To know Melody was to love Melody. She had a heart of gold and utilized that attribute to assist others. She chose the career field of a caregiver where she assisted adults with disabilities and the elderly. It was more than a job for her, it was her passion and she loved each of her clients as if they were family.

This world will be duller without Melody’s contagious smile, intoxicating laughter, generous heart and absolute love for everyone in her circle. She will be forever missed, forever loved and forever in our hearts.
