William Ralph Price was born September 19, 1945 to William Price, Sr. and Louise Greer Price. He died December 15, 2018 at Lutheran Medical Center from complications of diabetes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother, Steven.
He graduated from Arvada High School in 1962. He attended Mesa College and then ten years later, Community College of Denver where he studied computer programming. He was employed in that capacity over the next thirty-five years; working for Westman Commissioning Company and Genuine Parts before finding his home with the Department of Labor at the State of Colorado where he made several friends.
He is survived by his brother, David of Denver; two nieces, Sarah Price of Alexandria, Virginia and Amelia Brinker of Las Cruces, New Mexico; four great nieces and nephews; three great great nieces and nephews. Several of his friends trace back to high school.
He was an avid Broncos and Rockies fan and a regular viewer of the PBS political shows. He loved fast food and knew every outlet in the northwest metro area. He had an uncanny ability to predict elections and considered himself a news junky and was a lifelong Democrat. He loved to laugh and spend time with his extended family. He enjoyed television and reading the papers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80211.
