Richard "Rick" Palmer

Rick Palmer of Littleton, Colorado owner of PWSI Land Surveyors, passed away suddenly on March 1, 2023, while swimming in the Virgin Islands. Born in Joliet, IL on March 3, 1954, he was the second eldest son of the late Paul and Jeri Palmer. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High, class of ‘72. Rick was a land surveyor for almost 50 years.

Survived by his wife Heather, daughter Ashley (Greg), son Ryan (Olivia), brother Paul (known as “Peep), sister Lizzy (Alan), mother-in-law Diane Connolly, sister-in-law Suzie Wallis, Aunt Margie Palmer and special cousin and Godmother Sharon Herron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Also preceded by his brothers Nick (Donald) and Charlie Palmer, father-in-law Tom Connolly and Uncle Bill Palmer.

Rick loved boating in the summer, skiing in the winter and being with family and friends all year round. He loved entertaining and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Littleton, CO and another in Joliet, IL, date to be determined.
