Robert "Bob" Tatum

Robert Tatum, 83, of Wheat Ridge passed away on August 24, 2022 at Julia Temple Healthcare Center in Englewood. Born on October 12, 1938 in Ashland, Missouri he was the son of William and Ruby (Walker) Tatum. Robert married Arlene L. (Bernskoetter) on June 21, 1957 and together they shared 65 years of marriage.

Robert worked as a production supervisor for Adolph Coors Co. for 30 years.

He enjoyed family, friends, cars, car restoration, motorcycles, road trips, camping and hunting.

He will be remembered for his hearty laugh, sense of humor, love of family and life, and strong hands that held ours.

In addition to his wife, Arlene, he is survived by his children, Cathy (Ken) Rice, Rhonda (Matthew) Teter, Rob (Daisy) Tatum, and Lisa Tatum, his grandchildren, Becky Davis, Kimberly Vega, Robbi Sue Davis, Anthony Rice, Robert Tatum III, Ricky Teter, Tristan Tibbetts, Blake Rice, Angus Teter, Keenan Rice, Moriah Teter, Cheyenne Dodge, Bridget Teter, Cale Gould, and Bailey Gould, and numerous great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Bernice Orth of Berthoud, CO, David (Mary) Tatum of Mesa, AZ, Steve (Janet) Beavers of Golden, CO, and Paul Carey of Berthoud, CO.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003. The Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica St. Denver, CO 80212 with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery at 2:30pm.
