RoseMarie Elaine (DeMott) Tricarico passed away on Sunday 10/16/2022, at the age of 87. RoseMarie was born on 10/8/1935 to George and Mary DeMott in Henderson, CO. She was raised with humble beginnings on a vegetable farm with her two brothers, George and John and her two sisters, Diana, and Lori. She graduated from Adams City High School and loved her time there. She was in the “drip club” otherwise known as the swimming club. She was also a majorette of the High School band and enjoyed all the high school social activities.
After graduation in 1954, she soon met the love of her life, a Navy Sailor, Ernie Tricarico. They were married on October 2, 1955 at Mount Carmel Church in Denver, CO. In 1956, they welcomed their first child, Denise. A few years later in 1959, Ernie was born, and in 1965, Steve was born.
In 1962, RoseMarie and Ernie decided to move from Denver to Lakewood, to a home which they built, where they raised their children. The two of them loved to play cards, play bocce, go to Las Vegas, and were very active at the Potenza Lodge. RoseMarie was the President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Potenza Lodge twice.
In 1984, RoseMarie and Ernie started Skyline Heating, Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal, which is still ran today by their son Ernie and daughter Denise.
While RoseMarie enjoyed being a mother and a housewife most, she also enjoyed working at Jefferson County Schools. She was an ambassador for Continental Airlines and worked as a fragrance sales representative for numerous department stores.
In 1990, Ernie passed away at the very young age of 61. For the next 32 years, RoseMarie did well for herself. She moved to Cambridge Park in Wheat Ridge, CO. She was very active in the community there, where she enjoyed shopping, dancing, playing cards, playing bocce, going to Black Hawk, cooking large family dinners and watching her grandchildren grow up.
RoseMarie’s grandchildren, Vince, Ernie, Juliann, Christina, Gina, Frankie and Joey kept her busy, as she loved attending all of their many, many events.
