Sharon “Shari” Hamilton, 76, of Westminster, Colorado peacefully slipped into eternal life to be with her Savior on November 18, 2020. Born to Keith Parsons Brown and Lena Marie Elizabeth Meyers on January 20, 1944. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years William Scott Hamilton; a daughter Brenda Colleen (46); five grandsons Jacob (27), Casey (24), Tristan (23), Zachary (21), and Caleb (18).
Sharon spent many years offering compassion and grace as a registered nurse and certified case manager. She strived to always give and get the best medical care to all patients in her care.
Once she retired from nursing, but still being a caregiver by nature she took to her crocheting and would make countless blankets, scarves, and hats. These would be donated to the homeless as well as prayer shawls, baby blankets, and comfort afghans. She took many requests and would work tirelessly to accomplish that which was requested. She truly did have a very giving heart and enjoyed making people smile through the use of her craft.
The relationship she had with the Lord was very important to her and she enjoyed being active in her Church and even taught Sunday School for many years.
She spent every chance she could with family and friends. Watching her five grandsons grow and learn was the highlight of her life. Her friends could always count on her to be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.
She was a doting wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, great friend, and college. All who knew Shari were touched by having her positive presence in their life.
She will be deeply missed and to those hurting by her loss, she wouldn’t want sadness but rather a celebration of the life she had here on Earth. And also now her eternal life with God. She is at peace now with Him and her family that has passed before her.
This beautiful sentiment was written by her daughter, Brenda Colleen. “Mom, I love you to the moon and back forever and always. You are my angel, my bright shining star, and till we meet again…I will keep you in my heart, in my dreams, and in my memories; with every breath I take. Love your daughter.”
You are invited to share memories of Shari and condolences with her family by visiting the Tribute Wall. Thank you to everyone for your love and support through these difficult times.
