Stephen Forte

We are heartbroken to announce that Stephen John Forte, from Denver, CO passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on August 22, 2022. He was 75 years young. Stephen was born August 4th, 1947 to Joseph and Vera Forte from Denver, CO. He attended Regis College (University) where he studied Business and Finance. It was there he met and married the love of his live, Denise Forte, and started a family. After graduation, Stephen began working for 1ST Bank of Colorado, where he spent his entire career through retirement.

Stephen was a force of nature, an avid skier, golfer, and overall lover of adventure. Up until the day of his passing, he remained a kid at heart. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and entire extended family more than anything in the world, something he often mentioned.

For those fortunate to have known him, knew he was the most loving father, spouse, and friend one could imagine. We will miss him immensely.

Stephen is predeceased by his father, Joseph Forte; mother, Vera; siblings, Patricia and Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Denise; children Patrick (Lizeth) Forte, Stephanie (Jim) Chiate, Kevin Forte; grandchildren Ashley and Emily Chiate, Mia, Colt and Jack Forte; siblings, Tom (Peggy) Forte, Joan (Neil) Loyd, Katie (Mark) Beckett.

Funeral Mass, Friday, Sept. 2, 11:00 am, St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W. Florida Ave., Lakewood, CO 80232.
