Taylor Pickering

Taylor Marie Pickering was born on February 8, 2003 in Aurora, Colorado to Jennifer and David Hayes.  Taylor walked into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on September 5, 2021, at the age of 18.  Taylor was preceded in death by her grandmother Michelle Hayes, her aunt Mercy Hayes of Aurora, Colorado; her great grandparents, Richard Rousselle, Guido & Beverly Polana of Athol, Massachusetts.

Taylor is survived by her parents, Jennifer & David Hayes, her dog Brady, her grandparents, Thomas Polana, Kelly Vella and her husband Gary Strumlauf, Jim Hayes, and his husband Aaron Wilkinson, her uncles, Anthony Polana, Jacob Hayes and his wife Joey Hooper, her aunt Erica Strumlauf, her great grandmothers, Joyce Rousselle and Cathie Hayes, numerous great aunts & uncles, cousins, and friends.  Taylor attended Grandview High School in Aurora, Colorado.

Taylor enjoyed watching sports with her family but mostly enjoyed spending time with her friends.  Taylor was blessed to have traveled to meet or get reacquainted with some of her extended family in Massachusetts in July.

Taylor will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.  She was kind, loving and free spirited. Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Horan McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado.
