Theophilus “Teddy” Zervos passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Denver, Colorado.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Martha and children Nick (Stephanie Clifton) Zervos of St. Louis, Missouri, Stratis (Caroline) Zervos of Arlington, Virginia, and Mary Elaine “Bo” (Joe) Priddy of Denver, Colorado, and his six loving grandchildren; Joseph, Eleni, Theo, Steven, Zoe, and Thanos, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
Born the youngest of ten children on December 28, 1932 in Moundsville, West Virginia, Teddy was a Korean Naval War Veteran and co-owner of the L&M Steakhouse in Lakewood, Colorado. Ted enjoyed “friendly” card games with his nephews during family gatherings, was an avid fisherman, an enthusiastic harmonica player, and in retirement, enjoyed going on Greek themed cruises.
Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 10:00am at The Assumption of The Theotokos Cathedral, 4610 E. Alameda Avenue, Denver, Colorado, with burial service at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 South Quebec Street Denver, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teddy’s memory to The Assumption of The Theotokos Cathedral.
