Walter Dawes

Walter Lee Dawes, age 51, passed away in Wheat Ridge, CO on 9/04/2021. He graduated from Clear Creek High School and went on to the United States Truck Driving School. Walter Dawes met his wife Theresa Dawes at the age of 27 and had 2 beautiful daughters Bryce and Kaylee.

Walter was a big NASCAR and Denver Broncos fan. He truly enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool and cornhole, but his true passion was his family.

Walter is survived by his wife Theresa, daughter Bryce, daughter Kaylee, son Corey and his mother Londa. He is also survived by his sister Nicky Hathaway, her husband Don, 4 nephews: Jake, Benjamin, Dakota, Nathaniel, 3 nieces: Tony, Mikayla, Maddison, 2 sister in law’s Jennifer and Emily, as well as 2 brother in law’s Robert and Shane. He was proceeded in death by his father Walter Dawes.

Funeral services will take place at Horan and McConaty, Tuesday September 14. Viewing will begin at 11am and be followed by services at 1pm. A gathering will be held at 3pm located at 9230 King Way Westminster, CO 80031, for those who would like to show condolences to his family.
