William Magaziner

William R. Magaziner, age 73 passed away at his home in Castle Pines, Colorado on August 6, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Penn State and did undergraduate work at Georgetown University.  While in college Bill enlisted in the ROTC and later served as an officer in the Army Reserve. Bill moved to Colorado in 1992 where he met and married Kathryn, his wife of 27 years.  He started his career as a Financial Analyst and Estate Planner with Cigna and for the last 25 years owned his own firm.

In his spare time, Bill loved to golf, hunt, fish, travel and ride motorcycles. For many years Bill was on the board of the Cancer League of Colorado and for several years served as president of his homeowner’s association.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kathryn, his two sons, Eric Magaziner and wife Melanie, Geoff Magaziner and his step-son David Razner.  He is also survived by his sister, Jane Ware and his brother James Magaziner and wife Susan. He also left behind grandchildren, Hadley, Sadie, Mya, Geoffrey and Hayden and nieces Jennifer and Nicole and nephews Chris, Jad, Tyler and Sam.

Bill always had a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest.  He will be missed by his many friends, family and business associates…he touched so many lives.  Memorial services will be announced at a later date for both Colorado and Long Beach Island, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers please send contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Denver Hospice.
