William "Bill" H. Miller, 96, of Denver, passed away on October 22, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ginny; daughter, Christine (Michael Gold) Miller; sons, David (Jay Baxa) Miller, Mark (Catharine) Miller, Daniel (Sheryl) Miller and Michael (Erin) Miller; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and daughters-in-law, Mary Miller and Joan Miller.
Preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Emma Miller; son, Matthew and 7 siblings.
Bill served as a Merchant Marine during WWII. He was a well-known journalist for the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post and an Administrative Assistant to Denver Mayors Currigan and McNichols. He obtained his Law Degree from Denver University. He was the manager of the Denver Water Board from 1970 until his retirement in 1990.
Visitation at 5pm followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 6pm on Wed. 10/27/21 at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80246. Funeral Mass on Thurs., 10/28/2021 at 10:30am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3959 E Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80210. Committal on Sat., 10/30/2021 at 10am at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
