Norma R. Braddy, 95, of Denver passed away February 5, 2017 at Life Care in Greeley, Colorado. Norma was born May 10, 1921 to Marie and Jess Rahn in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Her parent's farm where she grew up is now a part of Thornton and Northglenn at 120th known as Washington Square. Norma married Robert Braddy in 1943, settling in Denver after her husband's U.S. Air Force Service. She worked as a secretary at Channel 6, PBS in Denver for 30 years, retiring in 1991 at the age of 70. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, attending Bronco games and following sports and music activities of their seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob. She is survived by her Children, Lynn Braddy (Barb) of Rapid City, SD, daughter Janelle McGuffey (Martin) of Cheyenne, WY. Seven grandchildren; Corte McGuffey (Laura), Ryan McGuffey, Megan Skinner (Cody), Paul Braddy (Christine), Jon Braddy, Sharon Parrish (Chris), Chris Braddy (Tessa) and eleven great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Horan & McConaty Wadsworth Family Chapel in Lakewood, with visitation 30 minutes prior. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
